Infoseite // Analog TV card ... Linux ... size of the resolution ... And buy recommendation?

Frage von www.suther.de:

Hello,
I now have rumgeschmöckert here and there and saw something that many analog TV cards, a Resolutiondabeisteht.

For example, Typhoon TV PVR Universal - USB = 720x480/30fps (NTSC) and 720x576/25fps (PAL)
With the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR USB 2 nowhere is something of which can Resolutiondie.

Are there differences? What's the standart? 1024x768 is too much to ask? What does the Resolutionauf (will unschaf the Picture, if one makes Full image?)?

Last but not least: Can anyone recommend a good (& cheap) USB card for Linux?

Antwort von Markus:

Hello,

Digital video is in the PAL television standard is a Resolutionvon 720 × 576 pixels at 25 frames per second. When Resolutionbei a TV card is not there, I would interpret this to mean that the card does not have PAL Resolutionschafft.

In case you are preoccupied with the idea of transferring analogue video recordings on the calculator, it is certainly of interest to you this aspect: FireWire FAQ">1st (c) Why do not capture using graphics card, TV card or video grabber?

Whether it is a good and cheap USB solution is, I venture to doubt almost. A small housing has often not enough room for the necessary privacy ... see
