I would like with a Canon XH A1 capture my footage. Was recorded in 1080 (50i). Now if I disc reading my material, but I can capture mpegs, although I project settings and then synonymous HDV HDV 1080 (50i) have selected the case. Is there a way to change it? Can hardly imagine that one can only capture in a compressed format ...

The material is produced that your Canon HDV (MPEG =). Accordingly, it is synonymous read this (= rüberkopiert). Alternatively, you can record with the camera in SD DV.
