Infoseite // Decision support, SonyHDR-XR500, 520 Canon HF-S10, 11, or alternatives?

Frage von sharkmk:

Hello Together,
I hope you will keep me in my search and decision help;)

Are short to me, I take photos for even longer with digital SLR cameras, and thus understand what aperture / shutter speed, etc.,) Now that we finally have a FullHD Tv synonymous, and make towards Asia will soon leave, I wanted to "still pictures" but times bring back moving pictures.

In the search for a suitable camcorder I stumbled upon the following models:

Canon (I have a DSLR of Canon and with the brand and quality poor) SDR HF S10, if convinced of the benefits of S11, these synonymous

SonyHDR-XR500VE or 520, here synonymous in turn, is only the memory of the extra value or is there more details that speak for the 520s?

For other alternatives in this quality and price area, I am of course grateful.

Of course, I have looked at the details and read through some tests, but I'm from it has become synonymous not smart.

What I value is that I have opportunities to be able to make many settings manually, if I want to. Next it must give the possibility to attach a polarizing filter. The image quality must be perfect synonymous.

What differences can account for the Canon S10 and 11, better lowlight features and more "space"?

In Sony500 and 520, synonymous only to the larger memory?

What Cam has more "freedom" in terms of manual handling? Sony, Canon? Alternatives? For an "apparent" better image quality synonymous, I like to do without some manual controls ...

Application: sun, sand, beach, sea as the main area of operation. Then I would use the camcorder synonymous for nature, animals, etc;).

Thanks for your help and greetings
Michael

No..
I think I have once read somewhere that when the 500 only copy of hard disk memory stick goes in the direction - in the 520 synonymous vice versa.
But even've never been able to taste ... possibly the time may indeed verify someone.

Canon

Then Sony.
The sensor is superior to the Canon for miles in lowlight. It also publishes a SteadyShot, which it so far in the consumer class was not.
If you are on a viewfinder and want to renounce the mic input, you are coming with the CX505 (520) of them and even more favorable by the smaller design, and the waiver of any moving parts makes the whole thing a little "travel friendly".

Thanks for your answer.

Think Okay, I can copy to myself. Losing or? ;)

Good, because the picture quality is better seen in the Sonyals the Canon, it has to offer except a bit more "space" for manual settings, nothing .... hmmm

The SonyCX models, if you now have a XR520 with a CX520 comparison, there are "Einschrenkungen" or on what one dispenses with the CX series, up to the viewfinder and the MicEingang ...? Manual settings, such Fokusierung etc. certainly synonymous flat or falling?

Are there other models / Manufacturer which are recommended in this 1000 ¬ class? Or is s.Sonyvorbei in the price range nothing?

And another general question: Is it really possible to get in this price range various manual settings? Or do I have to come to terms with that used in this region rather more value on automatics?

Thanks and greetings
