So, should I cut a short film. What is the best workflow for Avid. Of course, the first sort takes, different bins and other things to create the overview.
One gives me problems. In the rough cut, I should immediately create the sound? The film is made with the flap and I would always get the sound of the door straightening. When the new section is or what is changed, I would have to seek cover again to see so trimming mode when the door is?
The sound is then later someone think I do with Protools, that because of mix (atmospheres, effects) I must not worry but at least the current sound design so that the sound engineer has an overview.
Perhaps there is a good Tuto somewhere, I could certainly find one.

So basically there's only one many ways can act as one - it just depends on your personal taste, how to, what, where ordered.

Well, this PDF may be 9 years old, but the principle of Tonalegens has not changed my view of so great and I found it quite appropriate as a guide.
Certainly this is not a "how to" instructions, but a project paper, but one can expect that people are able to adapt things to their own needs. Thus, it is really no preference whether the concrete now for a Project has been written or not - you pull the info that you need and the rest can be neglected yes (the file format have taken x and y sound, one must stop replace with your own stuff).
What exactly bothers you create for s.den papers relating to sound and what is outdated, in your view?

Actually that was what I was looking for. To not constantly looking in the timeline the door and to trim, that way I get the Picture of the takes and the sound synchronously and no preference as I then cut later, it behaves like as if the sound from the clip come from. Actually, the sensible way.
Before I cut a lot of concerts and there was even create the sound and synchronize the cameras and finished 4-5 because each tape was running through.

Well, it just reads from today's perspective a bit odd if what is there of AVR 6 and that one should take for Picture and Sound separate plates ... :-)
