... At IBC (; 10 to 14 September 2010 in Amsterdam, NL) we are going to show all our products including the easyDCP easyDCP Players (, +) and the easyDCP KDM generator. Besides easyDCP from our suite we will show our so called CURATOR suite which delivers solutions for archives, eg lossless JPEG2000 encoding s.well s.creation of IAP (; Intermediate Package Archive) and MAP (; Master Archive Package). We will also show a Quicktime component which will be able to encode DCI compliant JPEG2000 files using Quicktime or Final Cut Pro.

We are located in Hall 8, booth C81. Please feel free to visit us and if you'd like to schedule s.appointment during the IBC please do not hesitate ask.

If you drive to Amsterdam and could look at the 'time to obtain more information (; especially prices) and then report? I'll be away unfortunately not. Is perhaps even the editors on tour?

Will try to create it s.Dienstag (if the tank is empty of our rent vehicle: pitch, which would be too expensive).

I suppose that of Valentino Linked DCP tool
For us, of course, would be a direct export from Final Cut Pro sexy. Then we can consider: YouTube for or provide for Cannes?

Antwort von Kino:

I follow the linked thead for some time.

But I have no "kleinstweich" more, for lack of need not even boot camp / parallels installed.

In such a hurry is synonymous's (unfortunately) for me - I'm still curious.

Can I have something to contribute to refuel?

Oh nonsense, synonymous'm curious. I wonder whether you just buy the "" can, since this is an academic institution and not a software company. Have you actually tried out the demo times? Work (with Tiff and Wav) for me without problems, had not really expected that it "easy" would be. For a Chinese restaurant we have made a Zwölfsekünder (quasi "Dia-On-Film," Regionalstwerbung) (our Leibchinese for jiao-zi in abundance), but the advertising agency that created the synonymous DCP, 1500 ¬ takes the customer. Sounds like Money.

Antwort von Kino:

I had the phone when released the first version, with Dr. Foessel. The pay can be the stuff already. At the time, were (if I remember correctly) 1,000 ¬ for easyDCP, with key production and - Administration were called to it as the 1500 ¬.

The test version I could not then get started, because I still had Tiger (minimum, 10.5.), But it will now try with the current version. The combination with the player I find appealing.

I doubt but that the agency awards to DCP creation in the long run will be tough, like I wear to the price of scale, and invite you to a pro rata funding of my software costs.

To set up boot camp next is nothing. Especially with a MacPro you pop WD-plate pure one, the rest is, as described in the help, hard disks on the utility. Probably is just unfortunately not yet Win7. One thousand Kracher I have not left it. How much profit is really made with Regionalwerbung I do not synonymous. The agency probably needs the CC, WW, forward ad1 group for posting, and what the take again, and how much the movie gets, you know yourself better.

There were times for the Mac Quvis Wraptor for little money (580 ¬), which integrated seamlessly with Final Cut Pro, Compressor, respectively.

The site still looks as if it would officially sold. Supposedly Quvis but broke. At least you can download the demo, however.

CineAsset is synonymous available for Mac, but not much cheaper than the Fraunhofer stuff.

Who really has the interest and it is likely, but hardly flinch before, just sometimes a boot camp or Parallels with Windows and set up the free DCPC to work. The required large capacity disk one can connect via FireWire or USB. The 'environment' comes out so easily with one-2Gbyte.

So very naive as it may be struggling but not because there already are some subtleties to consider, testing is necessary. Therefore one must at least not with one thousand options Rumschlag 100 codecs as elsewhere in the digital video world.

Since this is technically not particularly expensive, actually is being done "only" a color transformation in J2K compressed, all packaged in MXF metadata and generates a bit of XML that will be released very soon as a simple appendage of any editing solutions.

If Apple or Adobe for more than trivial, the 'times just to integrate' in Final Cut Pro or AE. Only the need is just so far relatively small. The larger advertising budget for cinemas to be challenged directly with DCPs of advertising agents, and the local cinema advertising is just not her so much. Given the absence of synonymous then the service provider that can handle something like turn into meaningful terms and (if 'reasonable' s.der agency may be at all 'useful').

Antwort von Kino:

Granted, I am certainly not representative of the industry. The traditional value chain "agency created (ggfls. the help of external service providers) the content passes s.Werbemittler who will then book the film" not up to me. Regionalwerbung is 100% my sales.

Even if I would offer the DCP creation for my clients for free, I needed only when a new customer, not even a year until full amortization. Additional gross margins as a service provider for agencies not yet calculated is (yes, still uncertain and certainly not synonymous term).

Eh's ripe is only after conversion put to me the use of DCPs but most comfortable, as for example, the playback from DVD / BD.
