According to Sony, you can the data of the internal hard drive to an external hard drive to download (see Operation Introduction Page 61 / save to external media).
Has anyone tried it already?
I tried it with some hard disks and it does not exist.
The camcorder could not detect external hard drive!
By the way, "it's" only with the special USB cable VMC-UAM1 of SONY, which cost me almost 30 EUR.

As far as I know (have a CX115) is the only Sony with this cable. I have tried this USB host function or not.
