Infoseite // Manfrotto 501 Alternative

Frage von frank.wagner:

Hello,

I'm looking for an alternative to the Manfrotto 501 Connections should be actually the same. I would therefore synonymous as any other brand in the Choice Manfrotto take

Background: The whole aim for the video shoot both (GS300) as synonymous for photography with a Nikon D200 and a Sigma 50-500 used. As a tripod, I have currently a Manfrotto 055 Pro

Greetings and many thanks in advance

Frank

Why? If the alternative smaller / bigger, lighter / heavier or cheaper?

Last week I have tried various heads. If it is a few euros more may be, then I would in any case the Gitzo 2380 or 2180 preferred.

Then - and now do not laugh - I would have the 055 on ebay and sell the proceeds for a used Berlebach auction. Preferably one that already has built Nivelliereinrichtung. Much more pleasant than the whole thing tedious by adjusting the leveling legs. You are allowed to pay is unlikely. I have my two years ago for 69 Euro captured.

To be synonymous Your pictures will still sharp, when the Sigma Zoom s.500er-end is a little wind and goes. Then dance the Manfrotto 055 is the twist.

It sits on the ollen Berlebach since 2042 last Thursday actually a Gitzo 2180th It has the further advantage that with him as the only head in the price range of the force balance spring in several stages is adjustable.

You should however be clear that a video for Still Image Eiger not really practical. At least the portrait you have a problem. Synonymous, since you'll hardly find a solution, the Video and Still Image may equally well, and sooner or later with a combination of video and 3D Eiger head or ball landed.

Hi Ralf,

Thank you for your tips

What are the reasons for the Gitzo's - Except that you now are more expensive, I have no direct benefit of the images can recognize her?

Greetings and thank you again

Frank

PS: Some Still Image my colleagues had already recommended the Markins M20 - But somehow I still can not quite part with the friends.

What disturbed me most, is that all Manfrottos that I've tried (128, 700, 701, 501), a pan s.Ende easily turn back. Low, but not be overlooked. Stört especially at long focal lengths, as they often think things are extreme.

This effect is the Gitzo 2380 and barely detectable in 2180 - why always synonymous - not available. That was in my case is crucial.

Pleasant is also at 2180, that the balance spring in several stages can adjust. Am I in the form has never been seen elsewhere.

At 501, the spring in case either of my GS400 on, and then far too strong, or even altogether. I try to spring a little friction with the tame, then it is jerky when tilted.

In addition, Gitzo simply in a class of solid build. You need something probably times in your hand had. Then you really need nothing more to explain.

Do you have a good photo shop in the area? I have Still Image Gregor in Cologne twice per 1 1 / 2 hours, alternately with the various heads and my camcorder herumprobiert until I apply for the 2180 decision. Can you maybe just make when you shop in such an ordinary customer. Otherwise, you can still eg 501 and 2180 order online, in peace and try one of the two returned.

Hi Ralf,

how far can the Gitzo 2180 with the video or photographs of birds move and there is a larger edition adapter?
