| Premiere CS5 recognizes only as AVI Audiofile

Hello dear community,
I have a little mini-camcorder of the Medion is able to record images in 1080p. Unfortunately, after importing Premiere recognizes only the audio track but not the video.
I suppose it is s.Codec. How do I get these AVI now imported to the cut in the same quality?

It is at the free x264 codec.

This must, however, in PPro firstonce be involved, in order to edit encoded videos. How this works, but is an entirely different story.
