Hello people I have on my Windows XP SP3 system a little problem with Quicktime know from someone? I open a video file with the extension *. mkv not, the error is 2048 (Quicktime file format ann not process). What does it mean and how do I solve the problem?

If there is something like Perian not available for Windows called "Quick Time file formats can not handle" just exactly what it says: Quicktime can not open file handle / play /.
