Infoseite // SonyHDR-or XR500V Panasonic SD300??

Frage von irishman:

Hello,

could be the above camcorder models (; SonyHDR-XR500V or Panasonic SD300) seem to me very interesting, because with them on trips in addition to such obviously good video recordings synonymous fairly good photographs can be made and therefore a compact digital camera waived.
Because sometimes I want to cut one or the other video, but not a very fast computer was available (; I have been with the standard MiniDV recordings made), it would be better than MPEG2 format AVCHD, right?
The Sony camcorder is apparently synonymous to include in standard - MPEG2 format (; as a DVD), if I have not seen it. Would this be the better choice? Or would it be better to include in AVCHD and then convert it for editing in MPEG2? However, it seems to me just to be an advantage, the video data to the backup and for Processing can quickly copy to your PC, without dubbing or long conversion is necessary, as it is on MiniDV tape recordings of the case.
Which of the two camcorders were more likely to recommend it at all? Or should we still wait for the Panasonic HDC-TM350 with solid-state drive?

Thanks for the help!

I had made synonymous, both cameras on the shortlist. For me, the Panansonic won. Sonyverwendet Unfortunately for the camcorders without the hard drive again a smaller chip host / host processor. This is very unfortunate because the Sonywith hard drive and the larger receptive chip had achieved much better results.

At the IFA Berlin had Sonysogar played with marked cards. Outside, you put the new camera with no hard drive CX 505, before now, with a smaller recording chip. In the darkroom at the camera with the Sonyverglich one hard drive (large resolution CCD) HDR-XR 500 V with the old series. The low-light result was of course much better because of the large chips than in the current series.
FPC-XR 500 V-Super -
CX 505-bad

This Sony-Trick and the inadequate setting options for the CX has led me to the Panasonic.

Whoever you that with the various sensors and the "marked cards" may have been synonymous says: In reality, both camera series have exactly the same 1 / 2, 9 "sensor with 6.6 megapixel gross.

I have a XR 500 CX 520 and one in use.
And as a complement: The CX has shot better properties than the low Ligth XR series, as well as the active talk better steady.
XR 500 is with viewfinder, micro input and headphone output in the price range of Pana is not only equal but superior.

Steady Shot is the Sonyist absolutely super. Regarding the low light features even had the masters of the Vertriebsabtg. admit that they have fallen a step here and there already was a reason for the XR 500 presented in the darkroom. But it was thought that the smaller low-light features of the CX Series are technically difficult to measure.

The XR 500 was synonymous to me very right and of the Technical Reference. Features extremely interesting. Whether the XR 500 TM is superior to the HDC-350 is I would not comment. I wanted not only more hard drive in my new camera and have to turn super sharp movies.

Incidentally, I thought the Verarsche of Sonyfür correct link, which in the discus ions in the darkroom of a few men should not be synonymous next comment.

At the moment I would go to 505, its low-noise images are in lowlight and artificial lighting is not beatable at the moment (of Canon, JVC and Pana).

But wait a minute what the competition does, it's easily 4-7 weeks we know more, whether the new Canon and Pana 2010s finally SonyExmor R will beat cameras.

Wants to believe that the best time to buy is not now ....
