Which Calculator fürTV card

Question by Andreas Thoms:
März 2009

Hello,

I own a fairly old terrestrial TV card of Pinnacle
(Per PCTV), on a P3/800 and works wonderfully in
Holding about 10 percent processor load is produced. So far I have
a SAT receiver had to hang, the signal on FBAS
has fed. Everything went wonderfully until the recording. The
ancient Drivers allow only "stamps" and later incorporated
Drivers / Codecs think I just do not or will not be recognized.

Now I have my Genia Tech - DVB-S PCI TV card purchased, the
P3/1000 only on a block produces at 100 percent
Processor load. On a 1.4 GHz Tualatin with the building blocks
less, but a decent picture, you still do not. Initial
on a P4/2800 (Celeron) is the picture halfway OK, but what
Recording at the sudden change. At Timeshift is hardly
think. Also here is the processor load then at 100 percent and
you have blocks endlessly.

The behavior is under Windows XP and Windows 2000 same.

Because the card as a P3/800 circumstances, a system expected to ask
I know if I do something wrong. I can think of nothing but
A. The system is up to date

If not, and the card is just scrap what DVB-S
Card, or what Videograbber I could buy the
following conditions:

Runs s.P3/1000 with 512MB Ram, Full PAL Resolutionbei the
Recording. 5.1 sound in the recording would be nice, but it must not be.

King Regards

Andreas

So, since the card is usually the digital data 'just' on
hard drive should write, is really no special hardware
required. Situation is different when you play from. Since the calculator has
some do, unless the card makes it even hardware ....
Where is your problem? When you save it? Then what agrees
not fundamental. Map corrupt, wrong drivers, or simply map
Crap.

Seriously P3/800? This should work best if the graphics card
the MPEG2 decoding vigorously supported. Otherwise it's already very
daring.

If you find something more: Technotrend S2300 Premium or Hauppauge
WinTV Nexus - synonymous as "active" DVB-S card known (both are quasi -
iedntisch).

The signal processor that will be needed, but my knowledge, already
longer is no longer produced, so that such cards only as a
Residual, or likely to receive needed. But it is even with
a much weaker processor than a P3/1000 easily and Recording
Playback in real time, since the card is almost a complete
DVB receiver to insertion (the thing has its own synonymous
TV-output).
