Infoseite // mirko s.panasonic Connect SD300 to ask ... quality!?

Frage von jobber2001:

hi, I have the Panasonic SD300 and would like to add my plug in an external mirko ...
I'm currently the Zoom H2 http://www.thomann.de/de/zoom_h2.htm

but unfortunately I have a VERY strong rush, I do not but if I take up separately with the micro

But since I will save a lot of work, it would be great if the quality with which the recording would be directly comparable s.mirko ... this is any way possible?

I hope you can help me because am slowly converting s.verzweifeln ...

match test times, the various settings of the zoom and Panasonic. With direct connection between my H2 and my SD707 without any special setup I get synonymous strong noise. But if I zoom in on the volume runterregle 40 ... 42 and in the manual mode, the SD707 cable plugged in the micro to -15 ... -18 DB runterregle, I get a very clear, low-noise sound from the zoom. I think the SD300 should provide comparable controls. If necessary. then you need to with the Mic. Gain of the zoom and the AGC setting of the Panasonic play.

In most cases I would use the zoom, but rather as complementary audio recorder as a replacement for the internal Micro. With the zoom I can wirelessly and ran close to SD-Card record - the longer the cable, the more interference. The cam can quietly record the sound in parallel - depending on the situation, I have such additional "ambient sound", which I can then mix with the zoom recording. This will obviously require to use a synchronization (flap, clapping, etc.) and means more work in post processing.

Oh yes ... the cable between the Zoom and Cam should be synonymous, of course, high quality, otherwise it is an additional source of interference.

Hope that helps
Markus
