24fps to 29.97fps

24fps to 29.97fps - Adam Wilt

Using After Effects to convert to 29.97 with a 3:2 pulldown will probably
give you better-looking results.
If you put the 24fps file onto a 29.97 timeline, FCP will repeat frames as
needed to get to 29.97, but the results will be a bit jumpy.
I haven't found a way yet to turn on frame blending for clips that stay at
100% speed, although frame blending would help when the clip is actually
being stretched in terms of frame count, if not duration. Has anyone else
worked this out (if no answers here on DV-L, sniff around on
http://www.2-pop.com)?
Cheers,
AJW
