RX100 - need it? / XDV - "Valerie Shoaps"

Hi,
I'd like to clarify this point:
>Of course, they also provide a correct, live output to client monitor
>whereas XDV only does so using the second head of a dualhead card and that
>isn't the best for color corrections.
Actually, it does output to a client monitor in accurate color via firewire and a transcorder. There is a slight delay as the transcoder converts it to analog. A solution is to route the audio through the transcoder as well.Is it workable? Yes.
I came from using a Storm and practically viewing the client monitor all of the time. Now the work flow is viewing RGB monitor when editing, then use the client monitor for color correction and previewing to clients. I can fix trims/slides with the client monitor as well, it's just a slight lag. I don't even think about it anymore.
Valerie
