Adding Text Caption - Adam Wilt

Can someone give insight on adding text caption to DV. Is there a way of

If you want to add closed-caption data as used in the USA, the program for it
is CCaption by Leapfrog:

That's the only way I know of to do it right now.

DV Tape in DSR 2000 - Adam Wilt

I have a DV tape (standard size, not mini) and recorded in Sony WV-D10000
> deck through firewire from Premiere 5.1c. It plays on other decks (DSR40,
> DSR20,DSR30 and Panasonic 2000 version..) just fine (with picture and

> out was the picture.. there was no audio signals at all...
Sounds like a malfunctioning DSR-2000 to me. Just to be on the safe side, was
this a tape recorded in LP mode? If so, try recording the tape in SP mode.
LP's interchange is problematic at best.

Firewire Upgrade - Adam Wilt

It means that, if your devices use the current copper wire cables and
connectors (and most consumer devices will, because compatibility is
important), they'll plug into your current Mac, but only run at 400 Mbits/sec.
If the devices use optical fiber, you'll need a 1394b-compatible
copper-to-fiber transcoder.

something about film look - Adam Wilt

A couple of months ago somebody mentioned a company that can convert DV

timecode transfer from BigiBet - "Perry"

Richard Vernon posted:

multi-camera sync with just a piece of wire.<
Whoa Richard! Timecode has to be related to the video, so you would need to
genlock this as well.
