DVL-Digest 562 - Postings: Index AC outlets AC outlets - "Perry" those folks kind enough to suggest solutions to my hum conundrum forgot that: 1) I'm in UK, where mains plugs are polarised and cannot be reversed 2) Most consumer kit runs on 'double insulated' PSU that are not connected to Ground pin I suspect it is something to do with either waveform purity or voltage.
