DVL-Digest 810 - Postings: Index 2nd video board for G4 - (2) 2nd video board for G4 - "Perry" I've asked this on some Mac Lists with no replies! I want to add a second video card to my G4 to expand the worktop. Since it will only be used for artwork, I don't need any fancy 3D acceleration. An existing cheap (now obsolete) Formac PCI card works fine on my 9600 but stops the G4 from booting. I've temporarily stolen the 9600 OEM card but the driver for that won't update properly in the G4. I've just looked through the Ads in a couple of UK Mac magazines, and there isn't a single PCI video card to be seen. How can I get a second monitor on my G4? Like buying a Ferrari to use for picking up the groceries! Promax do a Mac conversion of the Matrox G400 dual head board, but I already have a nice card driving an Apple Studio TFT display and giving me DVD decoding and other goodies. I just want a plain vanilla PCI video card that'll work in a G4, surely somebody must know a suitable product?
