
This new "Behind the Scenes" video from the set of Peter Jackson&s film adaptation of Tolkien&s "The Hobbit" presents the technology used: (!) 48 RED Epic, with the help of different 3D rigs (rigs Mirror, Side by Side - as a portable version Steadycam) are used (and were all baptized individual). Recorded in 5K with 48fps - so the double normal framerate movies, which should lead to clearer with moving scenes and smoother images (at least, when projected with 48fps). In
