Avid Xpress Pro to expand HD

Avid Xpress Pro HD will be added to support. The end of 2004, a new version of Avid Xpress Pro can offer natively in HDV MPEG and Panasonic DVCPRO HD work. Moreover, this version will support the new Avid DNxHD technology, which 10-bit HD compression with the same bandwidth and storage requirements as SD to enable video. Avid Xpress Pro 4.5 will be released in the second quarter of 2004 - new features: support for the Material Exchange Format (MXF), Panasonic DV50 media, fluid film progressive encoding, Windows Media 9 HD export and SmartSound Sonicfire Pro as a bundled software. The price: $ 1695.
