
The network has shown up a patent, the Canon has filed in April of this year s United States. It deals with a particular form of touch screen implementation in DSLR cameras, more precisely, the interplay between the viewfinder and display. Unlike camcorders, which displays the first, usually folded and placed second because of the type generally quite different from those for SLR cameras, the latter would indeed raises the risk, given that in looking through the viewfinder unintended commands -- correct, with the nose, via the touch screen. This should be prevented, according to this patent, however, by the camera detects whether an eye looking in the viewfinder is turned off whereupon a portion of the touch screen. (It seems to be taken into consideration as to whether the right or left eye is indicated by a menu as the preferred Spähorgan.) In our ears the whole thing sounds very complicated, especially as the touch screen function would be simply to press a button to disable temporarily. Or why not a display cover, or, or ... But how
this long blog post on the subject of speculation, would we not, of course, save the buttons that were previously operated DSLRs . The latter would certainly be a nightmare for many users. Not that everything is patented what will happen in fact technically, quite the contrary - but after we leave out in the consumer camcorder range hardly any opportunity to mourn the lack of operating keys, we could not those Unkenruf resist ...
