Grass Valley Mobile Storm - Capture and break-out box (also) for laptops

The Storm Mobile breakout box presents Grass Valley for the first time a mobile capture solution. In addition to analog signals, the box can also record in HD via HDMI digital signals to 60i. Therefore likely to be realized for the first time with a laptop, a mobile recorder that records directly to the Canopus HQ codec, which is seen by many users happy as ProRes for PC (although this comparison is of course something). The new product consists of a break-out box which is either connected via PCI-Express expansion card to a PC. Or just find a mobile to a laptop ExpressCard/34 port.
