
On his blog, the After Effects product manager Michael Coleman superscript one for all After Effects users interesting news: the new, native 64-bit After Effects CS5 are owned old (32-bit) Plug-ins no longer supported. Adobe itself has been created for all AFX included plug-ins new 64-bit versions that will be included in AFX CS5 and as many developers go from 3rd party plug-ins already working on new 64-bit versions, or even finished have. Adobe announces support all plug-in developer for the 64-bit implementation and calls AFX users to ask the manufacturers they have developed plug-ins to see it there is a 64-bit version in the works. Not yet clear is whether and how much the upgrades will cost - to decide is left to individual manufacturers. Anyone who has to rely on the old plug-ins no longer existent from manufacturers that give the choice to CS5 (and the expected speed benefits from 64-bit) or CS4 and CS5 install side by side, to use old plug-ins continue in parallel with can.
