Canon underscores its ambitions with the announcement of additional 4K 4K tools. These count four new Cinema zoom lenses: the CN-E15 0.5-47mm T2, 8 L and the CN-E30-105mm T2, .8 L each in an EF and a PL-mount version. Both lenses will be characterized by compact dimensions and low weight, and thus also for the free-hand films to be suitable. Prices and availability are still unknown. Add a 4K broadcast monitor comes in 30 inch format that will come towards the end of 2012 on the market. Both of the 4K cine lenses as well as the 4K 30-incher there is to be seen at NAB already prototypes.
