VP1 Sanyo DMX-CA100 is the equivalent to a depth of 3m waterproof (up to 60min, IPX8 standard), but it records MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 in Full HD with at (1920x1080 60i/30p) and may also photos up shoot to 14 MP. With its compact, upright mounting, design and in the other data, the camera follows closely the current VPC-CG100 - 1/2.33 "CMOS sensor, 2.7" LCD, 40mm wide angle equivalent in video mode, 5x optical zoom in photo mode. When does a video "Double Range Zoom" technology, which one can achieve up to 12x "advanced" zoom (the size of the read area on the sensor is changed for that, it is not therefore a pure optical zoom, according to Sanyo itself, it should be no loss of quality). Rates and Availability for Germany are not yet clear, internationally from the camcorder from the end of June in several colors to be available.
