I just long enough now dealt with the issue. Now I wanted to contact s.euch times. Have been some videos from Vimeo with the two mentioned cameras seen and was pleasantly surprised. Now I wanted to ask (a person have of the cameras) as you find the camera in movie mode? As you can see the behavior between full frame and crop images? I understand that the video function of the 7D is ausgerprägter as its big brother.
Would look for experience.
Edit: Application will be music videos, short films and concerts synonymous.

It works mainly for video or still image and then when to Still Image to sports or studio.
Otherwise GH2 with Kit and AF.
Full size just has still ne special aesthetic.
Did you sell the lens to the 40D actually stabilizing the VC?

I am small hobby photographer, therefore, the video function is of secondary importance, but I think that the video mode is a great change. Mainly found the shootings take place outdoors or in the studio.
The GH2 I was not even explained that I still have the Canon Obejektive home with next I wanted to use one of the above camera.
No, the lens has no stability.
Pils @ head: I understand it as far as possible in this forum is about camcorder but I would love to have two functions in one device is why my choice fell on the above cameras.
Someone with personal experience of the two cameras?

The GH2 more with the 20mm pancake and a Newcastle Filer, perhaps like the Voigtlander. I think the 14-140 is not for light but strong enough as a zoom already synonymous useful. comes to light again. But I stand on the animal Pancake, a brilliant lens. : D

It is totally depends what you want to have exactly. 5D is very convenient because you have no crop need or expect. However, it reinforces a synonymous Lenses on more expensive (but since you already have any). For the 7D, it is difficult to get a good wide Anglezu, because everything will be longer (the 28er will then have "normal").
The full format of the 5D has been a great aesthetic, synonymous because of the insane ISO values. Only sometimes the blur pretty wicked, I think. If one does not photographed as much sport (not so fast) and can afford it - I would resort to the 5D.

Exactly that was my next thought about the two cameras. The 5D is unfortunately only the EF series Lenses while Canon's go through the 7D EF and EF-S allowed.
Possess only 2 more objective ... therefore there will certainly be further investment.

The handling of the 5D is there something stupid, but synonymous totally portable. This you can do on the 5D, the Magic Lantern firmware, and have thus synonymous extras such as zebra, etc, that the 7D will be denied much longer.

Which Lenses do you have?
Oh oh now you've caught me, however;) What is allowed under the Zebra understand or Magic Lantern? :-) Of which I've still heard nothing.
There currently the 50mm/1.8 and the 17-40mm. (on loan) of a mate, it'll probably me to buy after the camera. :-) Would however like to have the 16-35mm if it were not so expensive pig ;-(
Edit: The handling of the 7D I find class. The great dial. However, it should not s.ende s.der handling fail: P

No idea, I've never had it. I would rather play with 1.4ern or 1.2ern:)
A 50mm is a beautiful portrait Focal s.Crop, I likes it. But you have to know. It must be clear: Lenses are expensive, and make the picture. Because you can not skimp so good - the 5D would be just the "better" investment.
If you want to photograph synonymous, I would take at least the 60D and the 550D is not there so great. The Tokina 11-16 is a great Wide Anglefür the crop, the 5D is sufficient, the kit (24-105L) from synonymous, but for now good.
Wheels, the 5D synonymous two - not just their own "movie mode", as the 7D. You have to go inside just different, is not so made "nice", but that's beside the (go to a media market and look at it)
Magic Lantern is a custom firmware which enables additional features s.der Camera, such as Zebra. Zebra will show over-and under-exposed areas in the picture, it is on video cameras as normal. Added to other nice things, I'll find practical, but you have to have not synonymous.

For the 7D 50fps mode you can actually pay. Do we not often.
It is best if you throw ne coin with you always or often Studio photographing landscapes rather then the 5D Mark II
But the lenses should not save you!
The most important are actually
16-35 24-70 70-200
all of the new series and as L - which you can use to shoot well synonymous.

That was a thought synonymous choose the 550D but I found them lying in contrast to the 40D not already in hand.
Both cameras have had in his hand. I had looked online before I get into the movie mode of the 5D already was somewhat different than the 7D
I think the 5D is certainly a good investment because I think that it is a good all-rounder.
But how do you even say with a 550D, you can make great photos and video.
The 1.8 I find it very sacred:) that's the price for an absolutely super lens! Yesterday I was only surprised when I saw the 50mm 0.0 1f have Since it took me almost cut from the stool.

I think probably my choice has stiffened to the 5D MK II.

The L series of Canon is already of a real eye-catcher!
The successor is already known to me but I think the 5D MK II is certainly 1 2 years to be a super camera.
