Frage von Gast:

Hello,

I ask kindly for your support.

Use My question: Can s.Tragegriff the integrated microphone s.vx2100 (turn off) and then, via jack, an external microphone (directional microphone) to? Or run the integrated microphone still does?

Thank you very much.

Antwort von Frank B.:

Hi Michell,

I got the camera, unfortunately not.
The internal micro switches itself off usually every camcorder once a time is inserted into the micro connector. What can happen to you, however, is that the signal (of the directional microphones generally mono microphone with mono jack) can be heard only on one channel. But if you reprocess with an editing software, you can simply duplicate the track on both channels. You can, however, synonymous to you a small stereo jack soldered to the Micro and put the mono signal to both channels.

'You Greetings Frank,

Thanks for the reply and the hot tip.

In the meantime, I have inquired a little about the directional microphones and have found something at which the soldering is not necessary. The Hama RMZ-12 Stereo takes on and is an incredible bargain.

My reason Thanks for the elimination of Integrated Micro's was that I was the "body sonic" avoid.

Thanks again.

Hi Mark,

honestly s.meinem first post could you read out so easily that I am a fairly Beginners in terms camcorder-bin technique.
When I was looking for a cheap directional microphone, I stumbled on the HAMA RMZ-10 and RMZ-12. The latter is particularly favorable and stereo. But now, after your note, I can imagine that the directional micro stereo is not likely to meet the underlying purpose.

I would like to add that is targeted at turning sound. Then most likely the RMZ-10 mono.

Thanks for the hint.

Love Greetings

Hello!
The cheap microphones are usually of lower quality than the built-in microphones of the VX2100. See synonymous http://www.filmerforum.de/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=3192

Hello,

Hama stands tall on it in the stereo, I'll go but it is indicative of which the function is only written.

Hi Michell,

My question was meant no harm and I think / hope, you did not synonymous understood. ;-)

The RMZ-10, I had synonymous for many years and am at work so have been very satisfied. The price-/Leistungsverhältnis is really good. My TRV900 signed the mono signal of the microphone on the way, both audio channels (left / on right), not just on one page. Perhaps the VX2100 makes the same.

Hello Michell.
So the thing with the shutdown seems to have been resolved now so wise.
But now to stereo or mono.
Own a DCR-TRV 900 E, and I've bought on Ebay, the Sony ECM-directional micro HS1E.
Here's field report, which is probably synonymous transferred to your situation:
1: A stereo directional microphone is fitted as a mono model with kidney or Supernierencharachteristik. However, the stereo model has two capsules, and this certainly bring about a better Rechts-/Links-Zuordnung and thus a wider sound field.
Mike joined the Additional 2: As soon as mine is, must be ausgetsteuert definitely manual, is to hear louder and quieter passages between no feedback.
3. Advantage of the microphones on the so-called accessory shoe are connected: The Mikes do not need any external power supply. So pay attention to whether the VX 2100 synonymous with the mic in such things as "Plug-In is Power". Then Mike can be operated without Zuböhrschuh synonymous and external Stromversorgug.
4. Disadvantage: It sucks, of course, synonymous the Mike the juice from the camcorder-Akuu.
I hope I could help you a little.

Hi All,

the Battery in an electret condenser microphone will last longer than a 3-week vacation lasts. It would therefore not really make noticeable when a microphone its power from the camcorder battery covers.

@ Buddy0278: So-called stereo-directional microphones, there are only in the consumer area. You would theoretically have four microphone capsules, as it takes for an Indicative Micro has two (consecutive) capsules. Professional microphones and the directional pickup pattern with pronounced, are always mono.
