Hello,

I climb straight into the video editing with VirtualDub and Dvix 6.4 On. and have two questions:
1. Jamand has an idea how long the compressing with VirtualDub and Dvix 6.4 with a 45 min DV-AVI file (Source VHS video) in some time. My Calculator is an AMD 4600 + X2 with 1GB RAM
VirtualDub is at 2600kbs ujnd a 880Kb file size of about 2 hours for a run in the multi-pass mode.
2. In instructions to Dvix 5 is that man the LOG file from the 1st Throughput should not write about this and the log file was smaller than the final file. With me is the 1 Run file as big synonymous and the "log file aktualiesieren" seems to be under Dvix 6.4 no more to give.

Thanks in advance!

Antwort von Stefan:

The 2h seems to me with your quick calculator to be very long. You can but this estimate of VD do not give so much. Try it and you know it.

Good luck
The thick Stefan
