Hi,
as pointed looks, I decide to hv-X-kamera ...
The question is: rather hv30 or HV20?
've just extensively used the forums search function ... A camera-comparison for the HV20 has a better price / performance ratio ... but I would be interested to know whether the hv30 but not any sensational innovations are incorporated, but they then recommend to the HV20.

HV40 has the best of my knowledge, only the Custom button more ... the models are otherwise identical.

Take the HV20, if possible, otherwise the 30 .. with the can just wrong!

This is probably the sound quality from the internal mic slightly worse, but because every ambitious film with an external microphone is working, it is irrelevant anyway. Otherwise, the HV30 to HV20 unlike black, which looks much more high ... hence the HV30 is definitely the better choice - especially as the HV20 hard to get and if it is more expensive than the newer model. If the HV40 on the market, it is of course a bit more expensive than the HV30, but since there are only minimal changes (Customkey? ..) Is synonymous because the price is just not a great fall. That I see and just after the HV40 is escaped, it is first ne still awhile until the price falls significantly. At the same time, but the price of the HV30 probably rise again.
So it was at least for the pair HV20/HV30.
If you only can wait for 2 months now, I would buy the cheaper camera.
The marginal technical differences between the two models have already been amply listed.

why is this so? No clue, I'm not a businessman and not a market researcher synonymous. The phenomenon I have are good and popular camcorders - and the HV20 and HV30 are definitely - have frequently been observed.
After the HV30 came out, the price of the HV20 predecessor suddenly of 700 to 1200 Euro on. Only rare times you see a slightly lower rate.
The HV40 will you be after 1-3 months on the market since synonymous for much less than list price to get, but whether they will soon for 700-800 euros, is remains to be seen. Much more than the HV30 can not anyway.
My Recommendation: Purchase Now the HV30.
