I want to ask MPEG2 Video (television reports about 250 MB for every 5 minutes) on my webpage. Which program and what settings should I use to achieve maximum quality at Minimal size? I imagine a KB value of about 10 MB for 5 minutes before MPEG2 material.

Since you're all I Treats you read, you know, that has NOT been all my questions were answered. So once again:
1. When I encode a file into H.264, you can open this file then each (no preference whether or Windows PC or Mac, you need a proper codec, or is this quasi-inside with the operating system)?
2. I guess basically what codec to encode an MPEG-Ausgangsfile for the Web, so that every PC user can view this video (Quicktime, MPEG, H.264, WMV, etc.)?
3. Is it important to convert my Ausgangsfile (4:3) into square pixels, or what would happen if I stick to 4:3 and the result put on the web. These videos are then distorted or ugly, it is no preference, because everyone can scale its players?

If someone has no key, he can not unlock the door. - Similarly, it is synonymous with codecs and the resulting encoded files. That each PC has the H.264, I can rule out with certainty. On my office Calculator (PC/WinXP/SP1) is not installed namely, that he is not here by default in Windows.
