Effects have for the trial version was of After Effects used. There was no trace of stripes, ie the picture was clean. The "strip" is therefore of that you have interlaced material (of DV) just did.

PS: In VLC, there are various deinterlace filter for playback, just activated this time and you get the same effect as in AE.
