Infoseite // VHS to DVD - How to take on the subtitles?

Frage von Muffin1986:

Hi,
I am to my father for a few VHS videos on the computer. But I would go about the Canopus ADV-C300 to pick (has already been often recommended).

Now the question is how the subtitles, I can take over? So my father has on the DVD in such a special subtitle track which is then recorded while playing in a blue box to be displayed. You know what I mean?

If yes, you get over the? If the VCR on the TV card were to my knowledge, not shown: (.

The subtitles are the best of my knowledge to "normal" Teletext. The is called a "picture element" outside the visible area with the actual video image on the tape recorded.

From a software that extracts text and as a subtitle in a DVD recordings (and if so, what VT-Page?) I do not know.

As a part of my VHS tapes of Vidfeotext it is and I can view it, synonymous when the recorder via AV input s.Television is, one could dare to try it synonymous with a DVD try.

Perhaps only the TV card software or the accompanying text does not represent and therefore could not call him? That does not mean that he is not there .... (He is part of the video image)

So just the DVD and aufnhemen during playback via the VT-s.Television button press ...

(I am afraid, however, that the TV-encoding MPRG the victim to fall).

Hi Muffin,

the subtitles are displayed, if you have the VCR connects directly s.den Television? This should rather s.dem VCR is as s.der TV card. The VCR is only a "mixed" signal, either composite (yellow RCA) or SVHS (small multipolar times). Neither television nor the TV card can signal in the television picture and subtitles to divide and separate display. This task is performed by the VCR, the most recorded on teletext subtitle support needs. A "normal" recorder can not play subtitles.

Is similar to the hi-fi stereo sound. VHS tape has three soundtracks (2 helical tracks for the hi-fi stereo sound and a horizontal mono). Do you have a hi-fi stereo recorder, the stereo oblique tracks are played. Packages you have the same into a mono tape recorder, is synonymous only the poorer quality mono played that for compatibility reasons always exist.

I once inquired of a friend who knows so. Here are his answers in part:
-------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------

The video is in the vertical Austastlücke in the range of rows 9-22. Teletext for the hearing impaired, we bring in the lines 20/21

The Austastlücke is unfortunately all I know DVD recorders geblankt (ie weggeschaltet) and thus you get the VTX is not recorded. Whether the Canopus data is transparent, I can not tell you because you have to try When Canopus or consult.

....

The subtitles on DVDs are (a decent authoring program provided) as the articles stored in a track.

What you need then, would be a program that decodes the teletext and abspeihert as text files, which you then could involve re-authoring. About the availability of such programs, I can say nothing,

Yes that's true. Thos Danke Berlin! I am almost afraid that at this point can not readily be possible with this subtitle to transmission.
