Hello,
have a huge problem.
vegas was 8.0 of a dealer bought and successfully installed and working to my satisfaction.
I now direct from sony perceived their offer and paid online version 9.0 and loaded synonymous.
can then install the softeware synonymous.
(XP pro as an operating system)
but
then if I would like to call the program, the message
"for the registration administrator privileges are required. They vegas movie studio platinum 9.0 of an administrator account in order to carry out registration"
I am / have me as an administrator and all other programs can load and install only the of sony not.
zigfach s.sony had written and exactly my problem with sreenshoots explained, but no solution in sight.
I believe that sony makes a difference in the upgrade of 8 to 9 if on the one side, the version 8 on a dealer and then the update to version 9 of the directly-sony site invites and want to install.

You probably do not Movie Studio and Vegas, right? From Vegas, there is no version 9 and no Platinum version, but only of Movie Studio.
Have you just tried to get the previously installed Movie Studio 9 as Admin to start or you have it installed synonymous as Admin? It is important that the installation as Admin
If in doubt search (registered as Admin) at C: / / Programs / Sony Movie Studio Setup folder and file it with the extension. Msi. Run this file and choose the repair process.
