Hi,
quick question. We are considering at the current air fares if we should not lay unceremoniously a few shoots in Mallorca. There are already flights p.20 ¬ and the song is a party / Atzensong and would offer themselves.
What needs with? 2 xCanon5D MKII & Glidecam HD-2000
Can I take dieCanon5D MKII as hand luggage to be? I would be very reluctant to do that from the hand of what the 5D's terms. We travel with 3 people, one might assume everyone was.

From technical Page not have problem .... my 1000 with a bissl small stuff always in ner camera bag. None has yet said what.
If accepted for standard hand baggage size usually also synonymous.

But not at Ryanair, where no Zusatzkram (not even a magazine!) The absolute restrictively regulated single piece of hand luggage. Ryanair calculated with the ever present morons who do not read extensively before the unusual baggage regulations, and collected when you check off magnificently.
Otherwise, cameras in hand luggage are of course never a problem. When Glidecam I would rather let's.

Had read with Ryanair.
Something had to stop watching, that you then put the stuff in their carry-on size.
So .... take a two 5D, one of the Glidecam and the whole thing is padded underwear to me .... the third takes shower gel with and finished.
3x10kg should suffice for this.

I've already synonymous one or the other plays a DigiBeta in hand luggage had ... So almost in hand. Except funny looks and interested inquiries gabs da noProbleme ... However, it was not synonymous with Ryanair;)
5D should really not be a problem .. fits in the backpack but necessary and good is.

You can take synonymous with several hand luggage with Ryanair in the machine - it needs to store just before a bag of Aldi, which the permissible maximum dimensions and weight exceeds ;-) What do you do then in the machine, no one is interested anymore. It pays to get the low cost of weight and dimensions that are optimized pockets. Lightweight nylon gym bags or backpacks for example, weigh only a few hundred grams, in contrast to small suitcases, although they are more readily acceptable in terms of their external dimensions bemaßbar, but already bring even 2-4kg weight. Also, for hand baggage, the protection requirements are not so high as in checked baggage, the stuff even as it constantly under control. If necessary, you simply put the camera just for check-in in the pocket and then brings them right back out.

I can only warn against seeing the Ryanair rules relaxed. I flew over the other day from Baden-Airport, there were a lot of people 35 ¬ (only for the outbound flight!) Have to pay because their luggage did not fit into the measuring device or synonymous only a little heavier than 10 n.war. Ryanair has set up especially for cashing one's own control lock.
Be sure to purchase tickets for Ryanair to just before the final posting by play times, often have normal or less bitchy airlines like Air Berlin, but the bottom line is again nearly the same price.

can be argued must hold only good enough and be friendly - so I'm so so nen airport right here in the immediate vicinity un'm often flown with those - you can even take still nen Tripod.
And all the other stuff you are then stop on in suitcases.
So who will save this for another 20 ¬ - so I do not know of exaggerating it just a little!
Vs amount Km is ridiculous but there are synonymous only NEN drum head to make - if I go here with the bus, I paid almost everything! As such when I fly to London or etc..

I have 30-40 flights a year, and if the thread starter wrote that he just wants to Mallorca for a few shots, then I'll assume that the only 2-3 days to remain on site.

No problem. Camera equipment, we always take gundsätzlich as hand luggage with. Previously Betacam or a lot lately EX1, etc.
With a 5D, no problem.

Ryanair is not a problem.
Am myself last year with the 5D in hand luggage (backpack) with Ryanair flying to Ibiza. The backpack had even s.Width 2cm more than allowed. Since it was just the cushion, however, it was not a problem.
YOU should nevertheless remain vigilant to meticulously the permissible weight and dimensions. Ryanair has the Sun are a kind of check-out wheeled bin with the maximum dimensions there, there must fit in the hand luggage. If not pay more.
