I have now increased a HD camcorder (SonyHDR-HC3). Unfortunately I am not in advance busy as I can handle HD material.
I have a Firewire port s.PC, this recognizes the camcorder synonymous. But what happens next then?
There is perhaps a 'simple' instructions on the Internet? I have in my search, unfortunately, can not find anything.

So take a good PC system, a Firewire port is not everything. Minimum requirements: P4 3.0 GHz or higher dual core S.2, 4 Ghz 1 Gb Abreitsspeicher New ATI or Nvidia graphics card A Systenplatte (160GB) and a second s.besten with 200 to 500GB
Aldi or other systems are finished most not so good for DV editing recommended. The only exception is Apple.
If you have a PC system then you need the right software such as this would be:
Pinnacle Studio 10 (about 100 ¬) Ulead Video Studio (100 ¬) Avid Liquid 7 (ca.500 ¬) Adobe Premiere 2.0 (ca.500 ¬) Edius 4.0 (ca.300 ¬ / 1000 ¬ with hardware)
On a Mac system, the program is inclusive and iMovieHD there else the program Final Cut Express (ca.300 ¬) and Final Cut Pro ( ¬ ca.1200).
