DVL-Digest 967 - Postings: Index anamorphic adapter reviews! Need help with LP mode anamorphic adapter reviews! - Adam Wilt I'm curious as to whether Adam (or anyone else) has compared this > attachment with the analogous Optex model. For comparison's sake, > I refer to the article sent to me by Michael Grant (thanks again!) : > > http://www.megameme.com/vx1609.htm Interesting that the picture of the VX1000 with the Optex adapter on it shows the adapter rotated 90 degrees from its proper alignment: as mounted, it'll make people fatter in the finder, not skinnier, and *decrease* the aspect ratio of the corrected image! I think my review of the OpTex is scheduled for the February DV Mag. Cheers, Adam Wilt Need help with LP mode - "Perry" From: Andrei Abramov I would appreciate some good guru advice. I have been using my old Sony PC10 in LP mode pretty extensively until recently it has been stolen. DV cameras are very senitive I guess to head position etc in LP mode and it won't play back properly on my Canon Xl1. (Thesea are no critical shots but it is a pitty to loose the stuff) Could anyone give some advise if any DV device could handle these LP cassets? Or are they any tricks I could use to copy the material? (Please don't tel me that I should not have shot in LP mode --it has been a great risk return trade off until some jurk stole my camera :)) (diese posts stammen von der DV-L Mailingliste - THX to Adam Wilt and Perry Mitchell :-) [up] |
