Acer's new 34" monitor comes in an ultra-wide 21:9 format with a corresponding UWQHD resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels. It uses a curved IPS panel with a market average brightness of 300 cd/m², a flashing angle of 172° (horizontal) or 178° (vertical) and a reaction time of 4 milliseconds (particularly important for gamers). It covers 100% of the 100% sRGB color space.
The X34P is the successor of the X34A monitor introduced at the end of 2015, and can overclock the maximum refresh rate from 100Hz to 120Hz, the old model had only overclockable 60Hz to 100Hz. The second innovation is an even more curved display, which now has a bending radius of 1900R instead of only 3800R.

It can be tilted forwards by 5° and backwards by 30°, tilted 30° to both sides and adjusted in height by 130mm. Interfaces include an HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and a USB 3.0 hub.
