Blackmagic has besides the surprise Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and the big Resolve 15 update a whole series of other new devices: another model of the Blackmagic ATEM series of live production mixers (Television Studio Pro 4K), the new Cintel 2 real-time film scanner, a new model of the MultiView 4 HD monitoring box with four inputs and new Micro/Mini Converter models (BiDirectional SDI/HDMI, Optical Fiber 12G and UpDownCross HD).
The ATEM Television Studio Pro 4K is an ultra HD live production mixer with integrated hardware control panel with eight independent 12G SDI inputs, integrated Fairlight audio mixer, an ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyer, MultiView outputs, auxiliary and program outputs and analog audio inputs. Other features include integrated talkback, two flash-based media players, professional creative transitions, an integrated media pool (with a memory of up to 90 full frames in Ultra HD) and a DVE generator for effects. The ATEM Television Studio Pro 4K costs around 3,100 Euro and is available immediately.

Blackmagic Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI converts all SD and HD formats up to 1080p/60 simultaneously from SDI to HDMI and from HDMI to SDI.For example, users can simultaneously convert video in NTSC format from SDI to HDMI in one direction, while in the opposite direction 1080p/60 video is converted from HD to SDI. The Blackmagic Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI has HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs and outputs is now available at Blackmagic Design dealers for about 75 Euro.
The Blackmagic Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G is a bidirectional fiber converter that converts SDI signals into optical signals (and vice versa). This allows SDI connections to bridge longer cable distances and to connect up to 16 km of distant equipment. The 12G SDI connectors of the Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G are multirate capable, i.e. the connectors automatically detect the video signal and adjust its speed, ensuring compatibility with all formats in SD, HD and Ultra HD and with equipment up to 2160p/60, including Level A and Level B devices. The Blackmagic Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G is now available for about 155 Euro.

The new Blackmagic Design Blackmagic Mini Converter UpDownCross HD, a standard converter that converts any SD or HD video format into any other SD or HD video format. It has multirate 3G SDI connections for working in all formats up to 1080p/60 including Level A and Level B. It also scales computer resolutions via the HDMI input.
Blackmagic Cintel 2 film scanner
The new version of Blackmagics real-time film scanner Cintel 2 has been extended by Thunderbolt 3 and PCIe host interfaces, via which the scanned and digitized image material can be transferred to Mac or Windows computers at high speed. Thunderbolt 3 with 40 Gb/s works together with Macs - PCIe together with Windows and Linux computers. Also new is the guide plate, which allows the scanning of 35mm film in HDR - High Dynamic Range - using the supplied DaVinci Resolve 15 Studio. The Cintel 2 scanner will be available from June at a price of around 30,000 dollars.
At the same time Blackmagic released the free Cintel 2.1 software update for Cintel Scanner of the first generation, which adds functions such as compressed RAW recording, live audio preview, support for small film reels, better film stabilization and much more.
