Blackmagic even increases the rapid speed of beta updates for the free grading/editing/audio/VFX and compositing program DaVinci Resolve 15 and has now released beta version 8 after less than 2 weeks. The update brings new features for the Studio and the free version of Resolve 15.
Again, it should be noted that this is a beta version, i.e. there are new features implemented, but they may be incomplete and the program may work unstable - so Blackmagic is as always grateful for user feedback in the DaVinci Resolve 15 Beta Subforum regarding stability and possible bugs. PIC1§ Presets can now be loaded and saved in the equalizer, dynamic, FairlightFX and global track properties on the Fairlight page. The Fusion Memory Cache can now be configured in the playback menu and the Fusion Viewers can now be set to display the correct timeline color space on the Edit page. In addition, the "File name" field on the "Deliver" page can now be changed and the overview of codecs and formats has been improved.
DaVinci Resolve 15 requires a database upgrade from DaVinci Resolve 14.3 and earlier versions. DaVinci Resolve 15.0b2 requires a database upgrade from DaVinci Resolve 15.0b1 on the hard disk. It is therefore strongly recommended to back up the existing database (both DiskDB and PostgreSQL) before upgrading.
