Viltrox is introducing two new compact portrait focal lengths. The two new additions, the AF 75mm F1.8 EVO and AF 90mm F2.2 EVO, cover an APS-C image circle; thus, the full-frame equivalent field of view corresponds to approximately 112.5mm and 135mm, respectively. ![]() Viltrox AF 75mm F1.8 EVO and AF 90mm F2.2 EVO Both telephoto lenses are equipped with a stepping motor-driven autofocus, which the manufacturer claims operates quietly. Visible focus breathing may occur during focus shifts over long distances. The minimum focusing distance is 74cm. ![]() The optical design consists of 11 elements in 9 groups for the 75mm, and 10 elements in 8 groups for the 90mm. Each includes 2 HR and 2 ED lenses; the latter are intended to keep chromatic aberrations in check, while the HR elements are designed to ensure consistent image quality despite the compact construction. The diameter of both lenses is 69mm (filter size 58mm), with a length of 76mm and 78mm respectively (Z-mount). The weight is just over 300g depending on the chosen mount – Sony E, Nikon Z, and Fujifilm X-mount are available. ![]() The 9-blade aperture can be de-clicked, though not on the versions for Fujifilm X. Those versions also lack the Fn button and the AF/MF switch. The two lenses appear to be available immediately for 389 and 429 euros, respectively. deutsche Version dieser Seite: Viltrox AF 75mm F1.8 EVO und AF 90mm F2.2 EVO für S35 vorgestellt |
