The microphone specialist has just unveiled a new version of its MV88 stereo condenser microphone for smartphones at the start of CES 2026. The new model now features a USB-C connector, which allows it to be connected directly to an iPhone or Android phone, eliminating the need for an additional adapter cable as before. For different recording situations, such as an interview, a band rehearsal, or a live event, the MV88 USB-C offers four selectable polar patterns – Stereo (adjustable from 60° to 135°), Cardioid, Bidirectional, or Raw Mid-Side – which allow the microphone to be flexibly adapted.
