The Vuze VR camera in disk format has been reworked. The Vuze+ should have better optics than before and the sound recording should also be optimized for spatial reproduction. A new feature is the possibility to stream 4K 360° videos in 3D live via Facebook, YouTube, Periscope or other RTMP platforms. However, this requires the external software Vuze VR Studio including the Vuze LIVE license, which is included with the Plus version, but can also be purchased for 175 Euro as an add-on for the old Vuze camera (currently available for Windows, for Mac only as Beta).
The Vuze+ is also said to have an improved user interface and a higher water/dust protection (IP65). It costs 1,195 euros and is scheduled to be available from the end of January.
The mentioned Vuze VR Studio software has also been updated and now offers horizon stabilization, improved editing capabilities and more export formats. The new version of the Vuze Camera App is also available, it should now offer full manual control and a live preview. In 2D you can now film with 60 fps.
