Once again, DJI has launched a new product exclusively in China—the new Osmo 360 II became official there today, after the panoramic camera had been circulating through rumor sites for some time. Curious users can find all the specifications for the new model on DJI Hong Kong&s English-language website, and it will likely be released internationally at a later date.  DJI Osmo 360 II According to the specs, the small 360-degree camera now shoots in up to 8K at up to 60fps (previously 50fps), and it also gets a boost in dynamic range, which DJI now specifies at 14.5 stops (previously 13.5). Low-light recordings are said to feature more detail thanks to AI SuperNight 2.0, driven by new onboard noise-reduction algorithms.
 4K slow motion is supported at up to 240fps, and timelapse sequences can now be captured at 16K, which is double the resolution of the previous version. There is also a new "Spotlight Follow" mode, which automatically tracks selected subjects (such as people) in 360-degree videos and generates "normal" 4K videos at 30p from them. In photo mode, the Osmo 360 II now supports RAW and HDR. At 2150 mAh, the battery capacity is slightly larger. NFC Quick Connect is designed to link the Mimo app on the smartphone to the camera more quickly. Another new feature is the ability to replace scratched lenses, a capability known from competitor Insta360—just on Wednesday, the market leader in the 360° sector introduced its newest panoramic model, the X6, thereby catching up once again with DJI&s first panoramic model from 2025.  Price and AvailabilityThe Osmo 360 II is currently only available in China—the price of 3,899 Hong Kong Dollars is roughly equivalent to around 430 euros, which is significantly lower than what Insta360 charges for its X6 (5,099 Hong Kong Dollars, roughly equivalent to about 560 euros).
