Edelkrone is resurrecting its small dolly box, which was first launched in 2017 as the Surface One. Now named the Dolly Go, the device is said to be lighter and faster than before and also compatible with small handheld gimbals like the DJI Osmo Pocket or Insta360 Luna. Especially for typical "creator" shots without a crew, the Dolly Go is designed to enable moving shots where the gimbal&s tracking function ensures that you stay in the frame yourself. The compact, motorized dolly is powered by two Sony NP-F batteries and can move on two axes along a path defined by the user. The surface should be as smooth as possible. It supports a payload of up to 2.3 kg (1.7 kg is recommended), and the maximum speed is 30 cm/s.  Edelkrone Dolly Go (Fig. incl. adapter and gimbal cameras) Control is handled via the Edelkrone app, which, in addition to linear and circular movements, allows free paths to be defined using keyframes, with the Dolly Go being pushed manually to the next position. According to Edelkrone, the paths are executed precisely enough to meet motion control needs as long as the starting position is hit exactly on every take. The Dolly Go can also be controlled live directly from the app. There is only a 3/8"-16 thread available for attaching the (gimbal) camera; an optional small adapter is designed to allow more convenient mounting.
