Sigma´s series of high-intensity full-frame cine lenses will be successively extended by three fixed focal lengths -- all offering an initial aperture of T1.5. The 105mm T1.5 FF is expected to be available by October, the 40mm T1.5 FF by the end of the year, and a 28mm T1.5 FF by early 2019.
As usual, the optics will be offered in the three mount versions PL, EF and E. In the future, the fourth option will be the LPL connector newly developed by ARRI (in 2019 or later). It was introduced in spring as successor of the PL mount together with the Large Format Alexa.
Like the other lenses of the series they are operated fully manually. The aperture consists of nine lamellas, the close-up limit is 0.3m (28mm), 0.4m (40mm) or 1.0m (105mm).
