Ahead of the upcoming NAB 2026 in Las Vegas, AJA has introduced two new products and a firmware update: the OG-GEN10 sync generator in openGear format, the BRIDGE LIVE IP, which acts as a bridge between uncompressed ST-2110 networks and the world of compressed streaming codecs, and an extensive firmware update for the IP25-R Mini-Converter. ![]() AJA OG-GEN10: Sync Generator for openGear FramesWith the Control and configuration are handled remotely via the Ross DashBoard software, which is established as the standard management tool in the openGear ecosystem. Power supply is redundant via the openGear frame. The OG-GEN10 is based on AJA&s existing GEN10 Mini-Converter but expands its functionality with significantly more outputs and integration into the openGear system. It costs and is available immediately. ![]() AJA OG-GEN10 AJA BRIDGE LIVE IP: Codec Bridge for ST-2110 InfrastructuresThe second new product is the Developed in collaboration with codec specialist Comprimato, the device converts bidirectionally between ST 2110 and common codecs or transport protocols: H.264 (AVC), H.265 (HEVC), and the older H.262 (MPEG-2) are supported, in addition to transport formats MPEG-TS, HLS, RTMP, RTMPS, and SRT. Optionally, NDI, JPEG XS (per TR-07), and JPEG 2000 (per TR-01) can be unlocked via license—the latter two are particularly relevant in the contribution sector, where high quality with moderate compression is required. ![]() AJA BRIDGE LIVE IP Up to four channels of UHD at 60p or eight channels of Full-HD 1080p60 can be processed simultaneously—for encoding, decoding, or transcoding. This allows the BRIDGE LIVE IP to be used for multi-camera backhaul over the public internet (as an alternative to expensive satellite or leased lines), for feeding multiple camera streams into an ST-2110 control room, for multi-bitrate encoding for CDN distribution, or for integrating NDI sources into ST-2110 environments and vice versa. The AJA BRIDGE LIVE IP will be available shortly and will cost ,999; the NDI license is per device, and licenses for JPEG 2000 and JPEG XS start at 1,555. The device is expected to be available soon through AJA&s reseller network. AJA Mini-Converter IP25-R Update v2.0 Brings SDI-to-ST-2110 ConversionThe With the free firmware update v2.0, the IP25-R now also gains a Tx mode (Transmit), allowing it to accept 12G-SDI signals and feed them into the network as ST-2110 streams. Switching between Tx and Rx modes is done via a dropdown menu in the configuration interface. ![]() AJA Mini-Converter IP25-R The existing Rx mode is also being expanded: the number of supported video streams increases from four to six, each with ST 2022-7 redundancy. For audio, the Rx mode supports up to 24 receive channels according to ST 2110-30 with flexible channel configurations (1×16, 2×8, or 4×4 audio channels per video stream). ANC ancillary data (according to ST 2110-40) is also supported with up to six channels and redundancy. Also new is an integrated test signal generator that can send up to four different test signals with test tones directly into the ST-2110 network—helpful for commissioning and troubleshooting. The IP25-R costs ,995; the v2.0 update will be available shortly as a free download on the AJA support page. deutsche Version dieser Seite: AJA zeigt auf der NAB 2026 neue Sync-, IP- und Streaming-Lösungen |
