Sigma will not bring any lenses for L-Mount to Photokina yet, but five new lenses, which will be part of the Art,
Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary and
Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM | Sports series. For mirrorless APS-C cameras (MFT / Sony E-Mount), the third
Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary fixed focal length -- after 16mm and 30mm -- will be the compact Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN (note the crop factor; the focal length corresponds to Kb-equivalent rather to a medium Tele). It is said to have a smooth and quiet autofocus mechanism that is also compatible with Sony&s E-Mount Fast Hybrid AF. The aperture is 9-lameled, the filter diameter is 55mm, the weight 280g.

Sigma 40mm F1.4 DG HSM | ART Series is complemented by the SIGMA 40mm F1.4 DG HSM - the first SIGMA lens originally developed as a cine lens. A corresponding imaging performance is now also available primarily for photography. The 1,200g lens contains 16 elements in 12 groups, including three FLD glass elements ("F" Low Dispersion) and three SLD glass elements (Special Low Dispersion), which are intended to ensure thorough correction of longitudinal and transverse chromatic aberrations. The close-up limit is 40 cm. The filter diameter is 82mm. Versions for SIGMA, Nikon, Canon, Sony E-Mount will be available.

The optical construction of the wide-angle SIGMA 28mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art consists of 17 elements in 12 groups, including two FLD glass elements and three SLD glass elements, which is intended to provide a thorough correction of chromatic aberration. Thanks to HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor), the autofocus should work with an updated algorithm as well as with the 40mm without delay. Both lenses are protected against dust and splash water. The filter diameter of the 28mm is 77mm, a weight specification is not available.
In the teligen
Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM | Sports series there are two new additions. The 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM | Sports offers a remarkable 10x zoom factor and covers the focal length range from 60mm to 600mm. Nevertheless, it should achieve the same high imaging performance as the SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM |
Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM | Sports and have an improved image stabilisation function. The 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM | Sports is more luminous, but also less zoom-strong. Both are robustly manufactured and will appear for SIGMA, Nikon or Canon.
