Panaosnic has just introduced the successor to its DMC-FT5, the FT7, which comes with a clearly structured range of functions. Among the most important innovations are the 4K video function (previously HD) up to a maximum of 30p, the dive depth now extended to 31 meters (previously 13m) and the new integrated viewfinder.
Further "tough" key data of the FT7 are: Shock-resistant up to 2m drop height, cold-resistant down to -10 degrees and a maximum load pressure of 100 kg.
Photo and video data are processed by a 20.4 MP MOS sensor in 1/2.3 inch format. A 4.9 - 22.8mm zoom (28-128mm KB) with an aperture F3.3 - 5.9 is available at the optics ikl. Power OIS.

The Panasonic FT7 is expected to be available from June 2018 for a RRP of 429 euros.
