Resolve KnowHow: Blackmagic is hosting free online seminars on DaVinci Resolve 21

Starting in mid-September—just like last year—Blackmagic is once again hosting six educational and free online seminars focusing on its grading, editing, compositing, and audio mastering program, DaVinci Resolve, which has been available in its new version 21 since June. The 90-minute webinars, aimed at both beginners and advanced DaVinci Resolve users, will cover topics such as getting started in Resolve (with a special session for those switching from another NLE), new photo editing capabilities in Resolve 21, color correction basics, post-production workflows, and working with various AI tools.
Shortly before the second webinar, ResolveCon—a three-day online event dedicated entirely to DaVinci Resolve—will take place for the umpteenth time from September 25th to 27th.
All six webinars will take place on Fridays, are held in English, and consistently start at 3:00 PM German time. Here is an overview of the dates:
September 18 - DaVinci Resolve for New Users
An introduction for beginners with an overview of all pages of the software (Cut, Edit, Fusion, Color, Fairlight, Deliver).
September 25 - Creativity from Photo to Video
Workflow from photo editing to video, including color grading—presumably with a focus on Resolve 21's new Photo Page.
October 23 - Color Fundamentals for Editors
Basics of color correction, specifically aimed at editors without a primary focus on color grading.
October 30 - Switching to DaVinci Resolve
Assistance for users switching from other editing programs such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
November 20 - Workflows from Camera to Delivery
Complete post-production workflow from camera capture to final delivery.
November 27 - Work Smarter with AI Tools
Focusing on Resolve's AI tools: Object Removal, IntelliScript, IntelliSearch, and Magic Mask.
As usual, participation is free and takes place via Zoom; online registration is required. For anyone who prefers to learn at their own pace and in German, Blackmagic's extensive online training videos and the massive 4,444-page Resolve 21 manual remain great alternatives.
