Without an press release Blackmagic today presented two further, very special Decklink cards, the purpose of which should probably be of particular interest to "makers".
The DeckLink SDI Micro for 135 Euro is a miniaturized M.2 plug-in card with 3G SDI connectors for simultaneous recording and playback in all SD and HD formats up to 1080p60. With dimensions of 80 x 22 mm, it can even be used in laptops or NUCs that still have a free M.2 slot. Only the SDI cables have to be led outside somehow...
The DeckLink SDI Micro
The DeckLink Micro Recorder is even smaller for 149 Euro. The 60 x 30 mm card can only record and not pass on, but has either an HDMI or SDI input. All SD and HD formats up to 1080p/30 are supported with supposedly minimal latency.
The DeckLink Micro Recorder
It is compatible with computers that have a first-generation mini PCIe slot with a lane. However, the HDMI connector with 8mm exceeds the specification of 3mm card height, which is why you should pay attention to the appropriate space before buying.
Obviously both cards are available now.
