BenQ has introduced the PD2732U as the first model in its new Creative Pro series, which is specifically aimed at graphic designers, photographers, and filmmakers. The 27-inch monitor features a 4K UHD resolution and a nano-matte anti-reflective coating.  BenQ PD2732U
Display and ColorThe panel operates with a 10-bit color depth, a typical luminance of 400 cd/m², and a native contrast ratio of 1000:1. The pixel density is 163 ppi. BenQ specifies color space coverage as 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709, 99% Adobe RGB, and 99% Display P3. Color accuracy is said to be at a Delta-E value below 2; Pantone validation and Calman verification are included. It is not specified whether the 10-bit output is native or achieved via FRC. PWM frequency and viewing angle values are also not specified, though Flicker-Free technology is present according to the data sheet. HDR10 and HLG are supported, but VESA DisplayHDR certification is not listed; given the moderate brightness levels, the practical benefits of HDR are likely to remain limited. The response time (GtG) is specified as 5 ms; BenQ does not provide input lag values. Overdrive is available via the AMA function. A KVM switch, picture-in-picture, and picture-by-picture are integrated; special Mac picture modes adapt color reproduction to Apple devices. The Hotkey Puck G3 is included as an input device. Network control or remote management are not specified.  BenQ PD2732U PC Settings Menu Ergonomics and DesignThe stand allows for tilting, swiveling, height adjustment (115 mm), and pivot; when switching to portrait mode, the image rotates automatically. VESA mounting (100 × 100 mm) is possible. Bezel thicknesses and edge-to-edge glass are not specified. The weight without the stand is 5.89 kg. ClassificationThe PD2732U positions itself as a compact 4K creative monitor with an affinity for Macs, solid color space coverage, and a practical Thunderbolt 4 implementation. For demanding color work—especially in video editing and color grading—an integrated colorimeter is missing, and the HDR brightness does not match production reference monitors. Compared to competitors such as the ViewSonic VP2776T-4K or EIZO models in a similar price bracket, the device will have to be measured against its calibration depth and uniformity guarantees.
